The gameplay is fairly repetitive, but it didn't get boring for me until quite some time in. I had fun playing and will return to explore end game areas. Grub runs out so quickly, I tend to stock up whatever I can find before advancing to new area. There are questionable and funny enemies such as the Twerky. I think people still play the game as I've noticed on Mii Central there are Mii of recent Politicans and celebrities. At first it was annoying to lose party members and forced to change to different class. I found out later best to level each party member equally. The tank must be one annoying as they always cause conflicts in the party. Only main character can be controlled as the rest of party act when they feel it especially the useless Cleric, so funny to watch the Mii prance about in the cutscenes and conflicts can occur randomly or when affinities are high. I finished the main stories within 6 days with exp grinding and farming for food. I have seen the Nintendo Direct about port for Switch with new features such as makeup and a horse? The 3D version is just as good.
